Here is a simple sizing chart based on sq ft  of  single room  ( length x width ) and how much btu’s you need to cool the room…  Please Remember this chart is based on rooms where you can close the door. if you are trying to cool a living room that its   12 x 12 and its connected to a dinning room that is 13 x 13 you are not cooling just one room you are cooling two rooms you so you are cooling 313 sq ft
